The Rivian R1T is here! The Worlds first electric truck to actually start production. Rivian invited us out to test their new electric truck on an Off Road trek through the Colorado Mountains. This video is not sponsored. If you want more info on the Rivian R1T (or want to get one for yourself) Their website is here: https://www.rivian.com/ I have been waiting for an electric truck for years. Yeah, Tesla dominates the electric car market, but there havent been any players inside the electric truck space, until now. Why is he wearing a mask ?.. He doesn't trust his camera man with being free of Covid?
Should I trade this for my bronco ?
I'm keen to know if we could jam some solar panels on the roof and camper trailer to help with running fridges and camp lights as well as what's left over back into the truck
….CAN YOU SAY…. UGLY?
Bring the Rivian to Albanian off-road. Those roads will determine if it is true off road 😀
I'll be waiting for Ford to make a 4×4 Ranger EV and hopefully afford one.
I go to church and there is a guy that has one I drove in it it’s insane!! He works for The company
Have 1 pre ordered. Can't wait!
Nice job.
Could only tolerate the first 52 seconds of Dougs review.
Impossible to understand you talking in a mask. Sorry, my English is not great and you just sound muffled.
That interior is way to nice to dirty up lol
That was an awesome review … really! I am also a Tacoma owner but soon be to a Rivian owner, Bye Tacoma, sorry
Where is the electrical plug when you lost charge going up the hill. Why don't they tell you how long they can go up hill and in the woods without being charged? When they hide the most important questions I would not by that type of truck for fact!
Take the mask off and talk like a man!
How much?
The biggest plus, it looks like an actual truck, not some trash your brother designed to be in a Tron fanfic.
The r1t awesome
Someone buy this disabled American veteran one Rivian 1T
I want one oh yeah
love the vid jerry!
Those plug's near the wheel would last a good 10 minutes off road in Australia (actually off road, not on a dodgy road)
Ohhhhhh wao nice place to see
Wow, very interesting roadshow, thank you 4 the great video,,get some😅🤔
Thing looks sick. Exactly how an electric truck should look like.
I thought your name was Jerry lol great video by the way
Bought a Tesla! I did test drive almost all electro vehicles. Driving a Tesla is like living in the future. Its your decision, buy the car you want, but you will regret if its not a Tesla. Tesla is light years ahead of any competition!
Curley , that truck smells
Like no one has ever changed a tire..are you subcribers 12.
Looks like a zombie truck.. Not gonna LIE!
Ok..I am sold on the truck, but what's the price? Not over $100k, I hope.
Wow, amazing 👍 I thought it has an automatic jack under its body 😆
If Tesla did a basic truck :
13:18 Something DougDemuro missed (I think)
What a great review, just 2 notes, someone say there is no lock diff… with 4 independent motors locking a diff is just one line of code, Power Delivery = Front Right and Front Left, ( just guessing about the code, but you get the idea ), now about the aesthetics, I really do not like the Hello Kitty front grid, some more aggressive look would go very nice on this truck. Anyway great work from the Rivian team, really top work. I really hope you go world sales soon I' from Europe, I'm really interested in a 4×4 without the diesel smell.
Rivian OFF ROAD crawling ASMR.
8:50
So its an electric vehicle and the tire jack is manual, not some sort of electric torquing wrench ?
That wouldn't really be a stretch, would it ?
kung fu movie voice over? 😅
If Americans call Wheels "tires" What do you call tires?????
They are totally quiet, if you neglect the peeping sound
The Rivian R1T sounds like a great truck. I like some of the built-in features like the air compressor and 110 outlet. I also like that it has a J1772 charger with the DC fast charge option. If I had an extra $70K hanging around, I'd probably get one.
I just bought my first EV car. They definitely need to do something about charging availability and time. Sounds like a cool truck, but what do you do if you run out of electricity in the boondocks? It's not like someone can bring you a can of gasoline.
Man in Balkans we offroad with Golf 2
